May Membership Meeting and Swap Meet

The evening of May 7th will start out with our club’s Annual Swap meet starting at 5:30 p.m. Tables will be there for your use, no charge as always! Here is a chance for you to bring in your no longer used or needed fishing & boating items to sell. Check through your items and bring some of them to our Swap Meet!! This Annual Swap Meet also provides you with a chance to purchase some fishing &/or boating related items that you just hafta have! There usually is a pretty good assortment of items there every year!! Then, at 7:00 p.m. our normal 1st Tuesday of the month membership meeting will get underway! This will be the last monthly meeting until October 1st. The next four months are the time to do a lot of fishing on the Big Pond! Our guest speakers will include Ozaukee County Conservation Warden Tony Young. Tony will be updating us on anything new and etc. related to the Salmon & Trout fishery in Lake Michigan. He will also answer any questions you might have for him. Another guest speaker will be Andy Hron Kettle Moraine Springs D.N.R. Fish Hatchery Manager. Andy will update us on the progress so far for the new Hatchery building, fish plants and etc. He will also answer any questions that you might have for him. Our final guest speakers will be “Rainbow” Richard Mielke and Captain Troy Prochaska of Trophy Connection Charters!! Between the two of them they have many, many years of Salmon & Trout fishing experience!!! They will also answer any questions that you might have for them! The topic will be spring to fall Salmon & Trout fishing tactics! Don’t miss this Swap Meet and membership meeting!! I hope to see a lot of you there!!! Note: There will be more smoked fish and crackers to munch on and another monthly raffle with great prizes like rods, reels and assorted fishing tackle to be won! We will also raffle off our last donated set of 32 flies in a case with a value of $75.00! Thanks “Rainbow” Richard for your fly set donations!!
