March Membership Meeting

Join us for our February membership meeting. Meetings are free and open to the public and feature a guest speaker, door prizes, smoked salmon for snacking and a 50 cent raffle. This month’s Guest speaker will be guest speaker will be Laura Schmidt a Fisheries Biologist who works for Cheryl Masterson Southern Lake Michigan Team Supervisor. Laura said that by the March 5th meeting, they should have all of our creel data compiled and analyzed, so she can give our club an update on the trout and salmon harvest in 2018, harvest trends, derby results, 2018 updates on our salmon weir facilities, and 2019 stocking information. She should also have prey fish updates from USGS that she can discuss.  Public is always welcome at the Membership Meetings. There is no admission charge to the meetings.
