November 5th G.L.S.F.-Oz. Membership meeting,

You are all invited to attend our monthly membership meeting on Tuesday November 5th at 7:00 p.m. Our meetings are held at the Railroad Station Hall in Saukville. We are very fortunate to have arranged for the evenings guest speaker to give us his fishing tactics presentation! He is none other than Andy Korducki and his boat’s name is “Rays The Limit”! At our club’s July 5th, 6th & 7th Public Fishing Derby Andy caught a 13.88 lb. Brown Trout earning him 1st Place in the Brown Trout Division! Next when it came time to present the awards on Sunday evening the five 1st Place winner’s names were put into separate envelopes. A young child was asked to pick one envelope for the Grand Prize of $1,600.00. Sure enough, that envelope contained the Brown Trout registration card of Andy Korducki. Following our club’s Derby Andy took a week of vacation to fish the Salmon – A – Rama Derby in Racine. This contest is one of the largest contests in Lake Michigan each year. Andy fished nine straight days of the contest accompanied by either his father Raymond, his wife Rebecca or a co-worker Kyle Moss. Fishing east of Milwaukee Andy landed a 28.57 lb. Chinook Salmon which won him the $15,000.00 Grand Prize! His Dad, Raymond, took second in the master angler division, combined weight of Chinook & Coho Salmon and Rainbow, Brown & Lake Trout, and Andy took third place! Wow!! The Sunday, July 28th Sunday Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s Outdoors section had almost a full page article on Andy’s catch titled “Prize catch has deep family roots” by Editor Paul Smith. For Milwaukee G.L.S.F. Clubs annual Fish-Ins Andy was in 8th place out of 23 boats entered! All of this has made him a very popular person as he is scheduled to give his presentation to not only our club but also to the Milwaukee & Racine clubs Andy fishes out of a 27’ Sea Ray Amber Jack and gets out some fifty times per year! He started fishing the Big Pond way back in 1984 with his father Raymond. There is more family history of fishing for Salmon and Trout along with lots of info on how he does it. I’ll let Andy tell you all about this at our November 5th membership meeting! Our Super Raffle drawing, Andy’s presentation, another monthly raffle, some more smoked Salmon and/or Trout to munch on and a room full of fellow fisher persons, what more could you ask for!! Don’t miss this meeting!
